About Us

More than a decade ago Rudy Mast started roofing. Working with his father taught him how he should always treat others.  Growing up on the family farm helped him know his occupation would need to be outdoors while making a difference in people’s lives. “We want to make it easier for business owners to succeed. Not having to worry about the roof over their inventory and workers gives them peace of mind. And keeping the roof functioning at its best for a lot less money, that’s a win-win.”

Rudy loves being outdoors and all that goes with it. He also enjoys the challenge of a stubborn roof leak. “We know how to solve roof issues and offer customers options and proper solutions for their exact situation.”

Natural curiosity has served Rudy well and moved him into the realm of commercial roofing several years ago. “I get to be outside, solving problems, and make a big difference in the lives of business owners who need to protect their building and livelihood.” 

Becoming a Conklin contractor in 2019, Rudy regularly attends training sessions to stay at the top of his field in service, product, and materials. Learning and excelling at all roofing systems, he believes in the company and knows “quality, integrity and doing what is right is most important and Conklin believes this too. That’s why I like partnering with them.”   

Beginning commercial roofing in 2017 has been a blessing. Large flat roofs are a constant headache for many building owners. “But we find the best solution and offer an amazing transformation. Usually at a fraction of the cost of full roof replacement.”

“I love time with my family and friends, and hunting. Locally it’s geese and a bear hunt in the fall in Virginia is a highlight every year. Our family spends a lot of time around a campfire playing music and sharing stories. I also try to take some time fishing for walleye with friends every summer.”
